ETOS (HIROSHIMA)
ETOS is a four-piece instrumental rock band hailing from Hiroshima, weaving restless rhythms and atmospheric tension into soundscapes that sit between math-rock and post-punk. Inspired by Tristeza and Don Caballero, they channel raw emotion into intricate, wordless storytelling.

Originally formed in the early 2010s, ETOS released their debut album in 2013. After a period of hiatus and the arrival of a new drummer, the band found themselves navigating life’s turbulence through music. Now, for the very first time, ETOS is bringing their raw, resonant performances to the United States. The band’s music reflects both intensity and restraint, channeling daily struggles into dynamic compositions. In their own words, “we will unleash our daily depression with our sound.”

RIP ROOM
Once described as “dance music for people who don’t like to dance,” Rip Room prefers the humble designation “dance music for people who like to dance … but are also bummed out”.

This three-piece from San Francisco play high-energy art punk with a math-y, prog edge — propulsive rhythms and piercing lyrics, but with a sense of buoyancy — wolves in sheep’s clothing.

The band released their first full length LP with Spartan Records and is currently working on their next record.

FEEFAWFUM
Oakland’s FEEFAWFUM is a formation of Bay Area weirdos featuring members of Gumby’s Junk and The Brankas. Short, intricate songs teeter restlessly between post-punk malaise and pop-punk euphoria. Their most recent album, 100, has been described as an “unpredictable tour de force of nervous noise, technical musicianship, and startling hooks” (Post-Trash) and “most certainly one of DIY culture’s flagship releases of 2023” (Sun|13).
FEEFAWFUM is Farley Miller (guitar, voice), Kevin Sullivan (bass, voice), Emma Greenbaum (Mellotron, voice), Theo Slavin (guitar), and Eli Streich (drums).

Composed of three renowned engineer/producers whose studio doubles as their jam spot and communal gathering place, the trio are able to document their longform psychedelic escapades with granular precision. The potency of the fellowship formed by drummer Phil Becker, bassist Donny Newenhouse, and guitarist Phil Manley (Trans Am) lies in their ability to utilize their prowess as both players and recording engineers to translate feeling with immaculate clarity. On their second full-length Huge Improvement, Terry Gross embody a complex web of emotion with songs as ferocious and precise as they are agile and care-free, delighting in the catharsis of excising tension alongside one’s most trusted peers.”

We’re so stoked to be playing with the incredible @quattracenta and @martinbisibc for two dates this October 24th and 25th ✨

“Martin Bisi is an original No Wave and Post-Punk producer from New York City who has been part of its musical history for the past four decades.
Bis made landmark recordings by Brian Eno (On Land), Sonic Youth, Swans, Unsane, Lydia Lunch, John Zorn, Africa Bambaataa, JG Thirlwell/Foetus, Cop Shoot Cop, Herbie Hancock’s “Rockit”, Helmet, Live Skull, White Hills, Dresden Dolls and countless others.”

“Quattracenta is a three-piece art rock band from Baltimore, MD, who draw on post punk and no wave influences to create cathartic and meditative songs about mortality and longing. The trio of indie rock veterans is led by guitarist/vocalist Sarah Matas, bassist Christian Sturgis, and drummer Andrea Shearer. Their most recent album “II” was produced by J Robbins (Jawbox, Government Issue) and released by Bob Nastanovich’s (Pavement, Silver Jews) Brokers Tip label, with additional distribution via Dischord Records. They have just recorded a new album, set for release in 2025.”
