Rip Room is excited to announce that our EP “Monsters” is finally available on cassette. This is the last of the songs we recorded with our dear (and tall) friend Joe Barker, late last year at Louder Studios with the wonderful Tim Green. (Sarah and I did some additional mixing with Tim on a incredibly hot day in Grass Valley this summer.) This year we learned the songs with our new drummer and dear friend, Gracie Malley, and have been playing the hell out of them (and a gang of new songs) ever since.

Next up! Finally playing with our league partners Hafner — almost a year (*to the date) after our first attempt. With Sacramento punks Student-Led and SF indie-rockers Daikon. Fact: John’s old band played their first show with this crew waaaay back in 2012.

This weekend is a stellar lineup of friends and chill people making un-chill music. We’re playing Sunday with buds catchlight and Color TV but you should go all three days to see Motherfucker, Justin Trosper of Unwound, Externs, Reptoid and a whole lot of other good music. There’ll be BBQ on Saturday/Sunday, and a benefit for the Mosswood Recreation Center. And it’s all ages!!
